John Schneider was devastated by the death of his wife, Alicia Allain, when he was only 54 years old.
The Dukes of Hazzard actor took to Facebook to share his sadness. He called her “my precious smile” and said she was now in a pain-free paradise with Jesus.
During this trying moment, he requested privacy. Schneider also gave them two pictures to show how much they loved each other. One was of Allain, and the other was of their hands, with their wedding bands showing.
His post ended by inviting everyone to contribute anecdotes of the couple’s deep bond.
Stephanie Allain was a producer, actor, and hairstylist in the movie business. She worked on movies like Auto Focus, Leather Jackets, and Caged Fear.
Elizabeth Schneider, her friend and coworker says that she bravely fought stage 4 breast cancer for three years before she died in 2020.
When Allain was first told she had the disease, she looked for information about how to treat it. She chose a method that included a ketogenic diet, taking cannabidiol (CBD) oil, and grounding herself in minerals.
Even though she only had a five-year prognosis when she was diagnosed, Allain chose to fight cancer the best way she knew: by researching and taking action.
From 1993 to 2019, John Schneider married Elly Castle, the actress who played Bo Duke in the hit TV sitcom The Dukes of Hazzard.
This marriage followed a first marriage to Tawny Little from 1983 to 1986 and a second marriage to his current spouse, Allain Lettick.
Schneider and Allain worked together to make CBD oil based on a character named Bo Duke. She described Allain as “kind and caring,” consistently placing herself last.
She was a special force that inspired many people with her selflessness and modesty. Before marrying Schneider, Allain married Patrick Dollard from 1994 to 1999.
Schneider’s co-star on the famous TV show The Dukes of Hazzard, Tom Wopat, shared his sadness on Facebook.
