Candace Cameron Bure Explains Her Family’s Move from Los Angeles

Candace Cameron Bure, a beloved actress and devoted mother, recently shared the heartfelt reasons behind her family’s decision to leave Los Angeles. In a conversation with Fox News Digital, Candace opened up about the move prompted by a growing sense of insecurity in the bustling city commonly referred to as the City of Angels.

“We didn’t feel safe anymore,” Candace stated with sincerity. This feeling of vulnerability sparked the decision for her and her family to seek a quieter and safer environment away from the chaotic pace of Los Angeles.

At 48, Candace, a mother to three grown children, elaborated that not everyone in Los Angeles resides in gated communities. Her family lived without such a barrier, which left them exposed to discomforting situations.

She recounted troubling incidents where strangers would capture unsolicited photos of their home, linger around their property, and even venture to their doorstep. These encounters often disrupted their peace and left them feeling uneasy.

“It’s surprising what people think they’re allowed to do,” she expressed with a hint of disbelief. “People seem eager to insert themselves into your life somehow. While some interactions are harmless, others are quite far from it. It’s nerve-wracking when you’re just trying to live normally and you’re never sure what’s coming next.”

Recently addressing her curious social media followers, Candace shared more about the family’s major life decision.

Indeed, the Bure family has officially moved away from Los Angeles.

“Why? Mainly for security reasons,” she disclosed through her Instagram Story. “Moreover, our family dynamics have shifted. The kids are no longer based in Los Angeles, so I’m following wherever they go! I’m traveling a lot, and life’s seasons bring change.”

Although she kept their new location under wraps, she did confirm that they remain in California.

“There have been many rumors about where we relocated, but none are correct,” she clarified with a touch of mystery. “We haven’t moved to Nashville or Texas; we’re still in California, but we’ve gone up north, away from Los Angeles.”

The decision to move becomes understandably clear when considering the frequent disruptions to their privacy at home. Candace’s openness about her family’s choice underscores the importance of feeling secure in one’s living environment.
