Child artist Akiane Kramarik captured the ‘true’ face of Jesus from her dreams in her art

Akiane Kramarik is a name that’s become synonymous with extraordinary artistic talent. She captivated audiences worldwide when she unveiled her painting of Jesus Christ—a piece many consider to be a masterpiece. What makes Akiane’s story even more fascinating is that her artistic journey began at the tender age of three. It was then that she began having dreams where she saw Jesus, a vision she felt compelled to capture on canvas. She believes it was God himself who bestowed her with this rare gift.

Her paintings, which exhibit a level of realism that defies belief, rapidly gained her fame, unveiling her as a child prodigy. By the age of ten, she had already made an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, where she shared insights about her visions and her remarkable talent.

Curiously, Akiane’s parents, originally from Lithuania, are atheists and never exposed her to any religious beliefs. Nevertheless, Akiane maintains that her visions and dreams were indeed real, a notion that adds to the mystique of her journey.

Among her many notable works is a painting of Jesus titled “Prince of Peace,” which Akiane finished when she was only eight years old.

“Even as a young girl, I started experiencing these extraordinary visions and impressions of the world,” Akiane recounted.

“I was amazed by the vivid images that formed in my mind, and I felt the urge to manifest them in some tangible way,” she explained.

As her dreams began to fade from memory, Akiane was driven to record them swiftly, utilizing her paints and brushes to immortalize these impressions on canvas.

Discussing her perception of God in an interview with CNN at twelve years old, she described him as “like a bow of light, very pure, extremely masculine, strong, and big. His eyes were simply beautiful.”

Conveying her visions of Heaven, Akiane shared, “The colors there were unlike anything we know; truly out of this world. There are countless colors yet to be discovered. The flowers appeared with such clarity and crystal-like brilliance.”

Now, as a 27-year-old, Akiane continues to create as both a poet and an artist. Her renowned piece “Prince of Peace” was reportedly housed in a bank vault for years after changing hands to a private collector for an astounding $850,000.
