For some, the idea might seem a little unusual, but for Jennifer Mulford, it’s a way of forging a unique connection with her partner.
Tales of unconventional relationships are not unheard of, but 36-year-old Jennifer Mulford’s story is quite remarkable. She decided to leave her job as a bartender to breastfeed her boyfriend, Brad, every two hours.
This practice, known as an Adult Breastfeeding Relationship (ABR), is more common than one might think. Jennifer hadn’t raised a child in two decades, so she begins with ‘dry breastfeeding’ to stimulate milk production.
Jennifer was intrigued by the emotional bond that ABR could offer, igniting her desire to explore it further. It was a craving for close connection.
“When I heard about the emotional closeness that breastfeeding could foster between two individuals, I felt a tug of envy,” Jennifer shared. “I’ve always found having my breasts touched during intimate moments quite fulfilling, so I had a strong feeling I’d enjoy this as well,” she said.
With dreams of creating a deep bond, Jennifer sought like-minded men through dating sites, ABR-focused forums, and even on Craigslist. However, finding a willing partner was more challenging than she imagined.
Then rekindling an old friendship with ex-boyfriend Brad opened unexpected doors. As they delved into topics, she realized they both shared a common interest.
“We were catching up when Brad mentioned his preference for voluptuous women, which opened up the perfect opportunity to talk about adult breastfeeding,” Jennifer recalls. “His reaction was full of curiosity and excitement. I knew I found my partner in this unique experience.”
Now completely devoted, Jennifer and Brad share this bond every two hours, day and night. She has set aside her career momentarily to nurture their connection.
One might imagine what Jennifer’s adult daughter thinks about this lifestyle shift, given a past where she breastfed for only eight months. Life is indeed full of surprises.
In closing, people find comfort and peace in different things. This couple has simply found a path that makes sense to them.
