The cat, later named “Blue” by her rescuers, was found outside in the rain. Someone had callously dyed her with toxic blue ink for what they considered “cruel fun” and then abandoned her. Animal rescuer Amauri Gomes discovered her and immediately took her to the vet.
The process of removing the blue paint from Blue’s fur was time-consuming and required careful attention. The rescuers used pet-safe cleansers and oils to gradually eliminate the dye. However, the rescuers did their best to keep her calm and comfortable, and surprisingly, Blue remained cooperative throughout.
With time and patience, the dedicated rescuers managed to successfully remove around 90% of the paint. As the blue paint disappeared, Blue’s true colors started to shine through, revealing a beautiful white and gray coat. The transformation was awe-inspiring.
Throughout the recovery process, Blue received the necessary feeding and medical care, which greatly contributed to her healing. Gradually, her sweet demeanor began to return, and she started to regain weight. It was remarkable to witness the cat’s resilience and ability to bounce back.
Once the cat had fully healed, regained her weight, and her fur regrown to its natural colors, she was ready to start a new chapter of her life. Blue was put up for adoption, where compassionate individuals could provide her with a loving forever home.
