Uncle Si Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame is about to have a lung operation after suffering from health concerns for over a year and a half.
The 74-year-old was thrilled with the treatment and said he would soon be able to talk all the time again. Si said on Duck Call Room’s podcast that he smoked, which hurt his lungs and made it hard for him to breathe.
He was also diagnosed with COPD in early 2021, making it challenging to battle COVID-19. His family and podcast co-hosts pointed out that he didn’t do everything he could to better his odds.
Uncle Si disclosed the cause of his lung operation in May 2022: when inhaling, both of his lungs usually operated, but when exhaling, one struggled to remove enough air.
As a result, he needed to have a device implanted to help him with the process. He claimed that he was ready for the treatment and would soon be able to regale everyone with even more stories, all of which were “95 percent genuine.”
Finally, on February 11th, 2021, Uncle Si informed listeners of the Duck Call Room podcast that he was eager to return.
