Officer Perez’s Kind Gesture

As Landen was selling his lemonade, a police officer named Officer Perez from the Ansonia Police Department in Connecticut approached him. What happened next was captured on camera by Landen’s grandmother, who later shared the heartwarming encounter on Facebook.

Officer Perez took the time to chat with Landen and asked him about his plans for the money he earned. Without hesitation, Landen shared that he needed to buy blue sneakers for school. The two had a friendly conversation, and Officer Perez continued on his way.

A Surprise Visit with New Sneakers

But Officer Perez had something in store for Landen. A little while later, he returned to Landen’s lemonade stand, and this time, he brought a pair of blue sneakers for Landen. The young boy was overjoyed by the unexpected gift.

Landen’s mother, Wendelyn Narvaez, was touched by Officer Perez’s kindness. She shared, “He made my baby’s day yesterday and not only that, he made him feel like a king.” Days later, Narvaez shared a photo of Landen proudly sporting his new sneakers.
