Audrina Patridge – a familiar face from the hit reality show The Hills – recently shared the devastating news that her 15-year-old niece, Sadie Loza, has passed away. It’s a tragedy that has left Audrina and her family heartbroken.
Sadie, born in 2008 to Audrina’s sister Casey Loza and Aaron Hershman, was a vibrant and loved young girl. Audrina took to Instagram to pay tribute to her late niece, expressing how difficult it is to say goodbye even though it is not forever. In her post, she shared, “We will miss you and treasure every moment we had with you. Rest in peace!! We will love you forever and ever!” It’s evident that Audrina’s heart is aching.
Many celebrities such as Brody Jenner, Rachel Bilson, Paris Hilton, and others expressed their love, prayers, and condolences for Audrina and her family in the comments section. Their support illustrates how Sadie’s passing has touched the hearts of many.
Yet, it wasn’t only Audrina who shared her grief on Instagram. Casey Loza, Sadie’s mother, posted a heartbreaking message as well. Casey struggled to find the right words to express her sorrow, rightly calling it the hardest thing she has ever had to do. She ended up sharing a beautiful thought in memory of her daughter: “Sadie liked to remind me of the first law of thermodynamics, also known as the Law of Conservation of Energy. Transformation is preferable to death. Her story will save many lives. You brilliant Starseed, rest in peace.”
Kyle Loza, Sadie’s stepfather, also shared a touching tribute. He made it clear that Sadie’s memory will forever live on in his heart, and he longs for the day he can see her again. Kyle, a freestyle motocross rider and musician, married Casey in 2009, a year after Sadie was born.
It’s important to note that Audrina has a daughter of her own, Kirra Max, who is six years old. Kirra was born in June 2016, just before Audrina married motorcycle and BMX rider Cory Bohan. However, the marriage didn’t last long, and Audrina filed for divorce and a restraining order against Bohan after a year of being married. Thankfully, the divorce was finalized in December 2018, bringing Audrina and her daughter a sense of safety.
Since her time on The Hills, Audrina hasn’t been involved in many significant projects. However, she did participate in Season 11 of Dancing With the Stars, where she showcased her dancing skills alongside partner Tony Dovolani. Though she was eliminated in the sixth week and finished in seventh place, she left a lasting impression on viewers.
