According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner, Stephen “tWitch” Boss committed suicide on Tuesday. The county confirmed that the acclaimed professional dancer committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with a gun.
The incident is said to have occurred at a motel in Encino, California. Following an investigation, the medical examiner-coroner ruled out any foul play and found that Boss had committed an intentional act of self-harm.
Many people worldwide were shocked by the abrupt death of Stephen “tWitch” Boss, known for his elegance and talent as a dancer and his popularity following appearances on shows like Ellen and So You Think You Can Dance. He has also appeared in some films over the years.
It’s awful to think that tWitch felt so hopeless and desperate that he took matters into his own hands and committed suicide. We must never take mental health for granted, and we can all endeavor to be more understanding of those who are going through terrible periods in their lives, times that they feel they cannot cope with any longer. With optimism, we can work together to prevent tragedies like this from happening again.
