Once upon a time, there was a curious little girl bursting with excitement to share a secret she had been keeping. She approached her mother with a whisper, hoping to be heard. However, her mother, preoccupied with something else, brushed her off, saying, “Not now, sweetheart. Wait until Daddy gets home.”
Filled with anticipation, the little girl eagerly waited for her father’s return, clutching onto her secret tightly. Finally, Daddy arrived, and her mother saw an opportunity to delve deeper into the matter. With curiosity in her voice, she asked, “Now, dear, what were you saying about Daddy and the strange lady?”
Before Daddy had a chance to say anything, the mother abruptly interrupted, making a bold statement, “You stay quiet – I will be speaking with my attorney in the morning.” It seemed as if she was preparing for a courtroom battle.
With a mischievous smile on her face, the little girl began to recount her astonishing tale. “Well,” she started, “Daddy told me to stay downstairs while they went upstairs. But I couldn’t resist. I followed them quietly, making sure Daddy didn’t notice me. And guess what I saw when I peeked through the keyhole?”
Intrigued yet trying to maintain composure, her mother responded in a sweet tone, “Oh, my clever girl! What did you see through the keyhole?”
Excitement sparkled in the little girl’s eyes as she continued her tale. “I saw them hugging and kissing,” she revealed, “and then they started to take each other’s clothes off. They continued until they were completely naked, and then the lady got on the bed, and Daddy got on top of her.”
Her mother listened attentively, waiting to hear the rest of the story. “Yes?” she urged. “And then what happened?”
With an air of confidence, the little girl exclaimed, “Then they did the same thing you and Uncle Jack did when Daddy was in Vancouver last year!”
Silence fell upon the room as her words hung in the air. The little girl’s innocent observation had revealed a hidden truth, unexpectedly opening a door to a world her mother never expected to confront.
