Baxter served as a dog-assistant at the San Diego Hospice, providing comfort simply through his presence to those grappling with illness.

Meeting Baxter was often the highlight of a patient’s day. His warm, friendly energy was infectious, bringing unexpected joy and vitality to everyone around him.

Lisa McCollough, a dedicated worker at the hospice, observed the positive changes whenever Baxter came to visit the patients. The staff noted how his presence positively influenced the patients’ outlook and their responses to their health challenges.

Sadly, after his last heartwarming video, the gentle Baxter passed away. His legacy, however, remains every bit as powerful.
