Unfortunately, her son Benjamin’s grave site has been moved.

Lisa Marie Presley’s tragic death on January 12th has shed light on her final days and the events that followed. According to TMZ, her twin daughters, Finley and Harper, have decided to stay with their grandmother, Priscilla Presley, rather than return to their home, where their mother suffered a heart attack.

The twins’ father, Michael Lockwood, is determined to prioritize his daughters’ well-being. Riley Keough, the singer’s 33-year-old eldest daughter, is present in Granny Presley’s Los Angeles home with the twins as they prepare for Lisa Marie’s departure.

Riley Keough’s agent revealed more details about Lisa Marie’s burial plans in an interview published on January 16th. She will be laid to rest at Graceland alongside her father and late son, Benjamin Keough; a public memorial service for family and friends was held outside the estate on January 22nd. This intimate gathering allowed all who loved her to celebrate her legacy and say their final goodbyes in the most dignified way possible.

Lisa Marie Presley paid her final visit to Graceland on January 7th, with her companion David Kessler, a grief counselor, to pay respects at Elvis and Benjamin’s graves. David recounted how Lisa had carefully pointed out where she would rest one day in an Instagram post. When asked if it would be soon, she replied, ‘No, I still have a lot to do.’

However, an adjustment was required before Lisa could rest in the cemetery behind Graceland alongside Benjamin Keough. A source told Page Six that the available space needed to be rearranged so that both could find their final resting place together.

As a result, Benjamin’s interment had to be moved slightly to make room. Even though this is difficult for those involved, it is viewed as a heartwarming gesture between mother and son, providing them with eternal companionship in death as they had in life.

Lisa Marie Presley’s spokesperson confirmed that she was buried in Graceland’s Meditation Garden, next to her son Benjamin and opposite Elvis’s burial. This happened before her funeral, which was scheduled for January 22nd. This memorial event included the placement of six headstones surrounding the elliptical backyard fountain.

Rather than bringing floral tributes, well-wishers were asked to make donations to The Elvis Presley Charitable Fund in Lisa Marie’s name. It was through Gladys and Vernon Presley, Elvis’ parents, that she became the sole heir to the estate upon their deaths, ensuring that her daughters would inherit it when their mother died.

Elvis’ grandmother, Minnie Mae Presley, is also buried in the Meditation Garden with the rest of his family.
