It was reported that a tow truck going in the opposite direction lost control of the mini bulldozer it was carrying, causing it to crash onto their pickup truck.

While trying to handle a tight right-hand curve, the bulldozer became detached from the tow truck, violently landing on Richard’s GMC pickup that was moving in the opposite direction and towing a boat as well.

Richard and his daughter Sally were tragically pronounced dead. His wife Julie, along with two of their other children, sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment. It was a painful experience for those who survived.

In the aftermath, the Hendrickson’s fourth child, Lyssa, who currently resides in Thailand, is serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, according to her social media profile.
