Andrea had gained considerable success on daytime television. Her outstanding performances as the disturbed adolescent Tina Lord in “One Life to Live” and Patty Williams in “The Young and the Restless” cemented her place in pop culture.

“My heart is heavy upon hearing of Andrea Evans’ passing,” he wrote. “Andrea was already a shining star when I joined OLTL.” She was always gracious and courteous and a joy to deal with. A lunchtime legend who will be sorely missed. My heartfelt condolences go out to her family.”

Andrea’s talent expanded beyond daytime drama, and was recognized for her outstanding performances. She was nominated for another Daytime Emmy in 2015 for Outstanding Actress in a New Approaches Drama Series for her work as Vivian Price in the web series “DeVanity.”

Nonetheless, the beloved actress made a highly anticipated cameo appearance in the same year, repeating her role as Tina on “One Life to Live.”

In an interview with TV Guide, Executive Producer Valentini expressed his enthusiasm at her reappearance, revealing that fans had been waiting for her return for years.

“While Andrea has not been seen on OLTL since 1990, she has consistently been one of the most requested characters to return,” he explained. I am delighted to see her back to OLTL since she has left an indelible effect on our audience.”
