An armed shooter stormed Covenant School, a private Christian elementary school in Nashville’s Green Hills area, causing a tragic tragedy.
Three nine-year-old pupils and three adult staff members were tragically killed. When police officers arrived, they shot and killed Audrey Hale, the 28-year-old shooter.

Caroline and her sons begin their regular prayer ritual as they go to school each morning. Her heart is heavy with the thought that parents nationwide are terrified of sending their children off to an unknown future.
She is all too familiar with this worry as a mother. After her brother-in-law and sister sadly died, Caroline and her famous husband accepted three orphaned nieces and nephews into their family.
The additional prayers she says every time her boys leave the car at school reflect her wish to keep them safe.
After the terrible shooting at Nashville’s Covenant School, Caroline turned to social media to discuss her feelings.
Before writing about the tragic circumstance, she shared a photo of the school and a passage from Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”
She stated that it was both upsetting and unacceptable for students at schools to be afraid for their safety every day.
Numerous country music luminaries, including Reba McEntire, Carly Pearce, Randy Houser, Sheryl Crow, and the Osborne Brothers, followed Caroline’s lead, contributing their talents to people in mourning.
They all strongly condemned the violence and said they were outraged by the pain families endured because of it.
