Montgomery told the Associated Press about ongoing series work in 1965 that she preferred ‘one screenplay with one character’ over a consistent role, citing the risks of growing too involved or comfortable.
Elizabeth Montgomery was married four times in her life. This included an award-winning actor named Gig Young, but the couple separated in 1963.
Elizabeth met William Asher while filming Johnny Cool, with whom she had three children. Robert Foxworth became her fourth husband, with whom she remained until her death.
