The conflict between Priscilla Presley and Riley Keough over Lisa Marie’s estate has been resolved.

Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie’s mother, Elvis’ previous wife, and Riley Keough, Lisa Marie’s daughter, have agreed in their court battle over Lisa Marie Presley’s assets.

Tragically, on January 12, 2023, the famed singer and Elvis Presley’s only child died of a heart attack. Following Lisa Marie’s sudden death, the Presley family faced enormous upheaval.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Priscilla filed a petition to contest a revision made to Lisa Marie’s final will and testament in 2016, which handed Riley and her late brother Benjamin Keough control over her property.

Priscilla was concerned about the authenticity of Lisa Marie’s unnotarized signature on the document, among other things.

After months of legal wrangling, the grandmother and granddaughter struck an undisclosed settlement. A sole trustee is now being appointed for the vocalist of “Lights Out.”

Riley Keough has been named the sole executor of Lisa Marie Presley’s estate. This recent development is a huge step toward resolving the thorny issues surrounding the singer’s business concerns.

As the person responsible for the operation of the sub-trust for Lisa Marie’s half-brother, Navarone Garibaldi, Priscilla will continue to have a limited part in the settlement. Her gift will be a one-time payment made from Lisa Marie’s trust.

The attorney for the “Daisy Jones and the Six” actress confirmed in the filing that she would not get a trustee fee from the estate, unlike Priscilla Presley, who was allegedly entitled to one.

Priscilla spoke to Entertainment Tonight after addressing the concerns around the interpretation of documents in Lisa Marie’s trust, stating that “the Presley family is now stronger than ever” and that the legal entanglements were a thing of the past.

“I want to make it clear that we never filed a lawsuit against my beloved granddaughter, although certain media outlets incorrectly labeled it as such,” she said.

We are overjoyed that we settled this issue as a family. I respectfully urge that everyone respect our need for privacy while we mourn Lisa Marie and support one another.”
